- Axial 3D Fiesta (IAC – 7th and 8th nerves)
- Axial SE T2 Hi-Res (foramen magnum to tentorium)
- Axial SE T1 (3mm)- without fat suppression (as opposed to the coronal scans that follow) so as to visualize the rare lipomas or hemorrhagic lesions that can affect the CP angle, IAC, and/or the temporal bone.
- Coronal T1 Fat Sat (3mm)
